RooooFUS The Roller Roo

The Story of Roller Roo:

Kangaroo's hop. Hopping is what they do.

That's why it was so odd that back in the most outback part of the Outback, there was one kangaroo named Roooofus who wouldn't hop.

He thought hopping wasn't hip. And while he didn't mind kicking back and doing nothing at all, it was hopping that he'd wholeheartedly have none of.

So, he'd just sit under his favorite gum tree and shout, "G'day!" to his un-hip mates as they'd hop here and there.

Of course, it didn't take too long for him to get very bored. So, one day, he decided to catch a freighter to America , just to see what the young kangaroos over there did for fun.

Kooky A. Bird

Introducing Kooky Bird

Roooofus the Roller Roo was walking to the roller skating center one bright, sunny day when he stumbled upon a large box in the parking lot.

The box was from Australia , his native land. Peering inside the box, he found a white, oval- shaped object that was nearly as large as him.

He stooped over the object to get a closer look and was startled by a "peck," followed by a "crack," a "snap," a "chirp" and then one final, loud "crack!" Roller Roo stepped back, and a brightly-colored kookaburra bird bounced out of its shell. Flap, flap, flap, went the kooky bird's wings.

However, no matter how hard he flapped his wings, he couldn't fly. Roller Roo had an idea. "Put these skates on and start rolling," said Roller Roo. Kooky put on the skates and began to roll and roll and roll. "Hey, this is fun," said Kooky. "I don't need to fly when I can skate."
